Satyanarayan Katha is Hinduism’s ritual usually performed before any auspicious occasion such as Marriage, House inauguration, Child Birth etc. It can also be performed whenever any Indian family wishes to achieve great success and/or to remove the vested trouble.
More usually than not, Satyanarayan Puja is performed either when we are wanting to meet a volition or when the desire is consummated with the Lord’s blessings,; it’s at this point that the Puja is performed to give our gratitude.
This puja can be done on any day, however if it is done for a specific reason then a Shubh Muhurat should be decided by consulting a Pandit. There are a lot of days according to the Hindu Panchang that are considered to be good muhurats by default. These include Sankranti, Poornima, Ekadashi and days on which solar eclipses occur.
